Fitrah

The innate nature Allah created in every soul — a disposition toward Him.

Every human being is born with Fitrah — an instinct toward the divine, a natural recognition of Allah. The Prophet ﷺ said every child is born upon Fitrah. Life, environment, and choice either nurture or bury it. The seeker who returns to Islam is not converting to something foreign — they are uncovering what was always there.

"So direct your face toward the religion, inclining toward truth. [Adhere to] the Fitrah of Allah upon which He has created all people." — Quran 30:30

"Every child is born upon Fitrah; his parents then make him Jewish, Christian, or Magian." — Sahih Bukhari
