قَلْب

Qalb

Qal-b

The heart — the seat of faith, intention, and spiritual sight.

The Qalb is not the physical organ. It is the center of the human being — the place where faith lives, where intention is formed, where Allah looks. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'There is a piece of flesh in the body; if it is sound, the whole body is sound. If it is corrupt, the whole body is corrupt. That is the heart.' Every spiritual practice in Islam — prayer, fasting, dhikr, repentance — is aimed at the Qalb.

"The Day when neither wealth nor sons will be of any use, except to the one who comes to Allah with a sound heart." — Quran 26:88-89

"Allah does not look at your forms or wealth, but He looks at your hearts and deeds." — Sahih Muslim
