Mercy — Allah's all-encompassing compassion, and a quality He loves in His servants.

Allah has 100 portions of mercy. He sent one to the world — and from that single portion come all acts of love between creatures. The other 99 He reserves for the Day of Judgment. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Allah is more merciful to His servant than a mother is to her child.' And He commanded His servants to carry that mercy with each other.

"My mercy encompasses all things." — Quran 7:156

"Those who show mercy will be shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Show mercy to those on earth, and He who is in the heaven will show mercy to you." — Tirmidhi
