Tawbah is not just regret — it is a return. It requires three things: stopping the sin, regretting it sincerely, and resolving not to return. If the sin involved another person's right, it requires restoring that right. Allah said He loves those who repent. Tawbah is not weakness — it is the highest form of spiritual courage.
